MotoGP at Donington Park
The MotoGP circus is now at Donington Park, racing tomorrow. Latest qualifying results (the usual suspects) : Rossi, Gibernau, Melandri, Barros, Hayden & Edwards for the 1st 2 rows. Hopefully I would be able to watch it live...unless the mangkuk tv programmer at Starworld/ESPN Asia decides to telecast live F1 in Germany (Hockenheim?) kononnya will generate more viewing (of my arse adalah).
Update
Based on live timing at MotoGP :
1. Rossi (again)
2. Kenny Roberts Jr (eh? apahal lak mamat ni naik)
3. Barros
11 riders crossed the finish line...what happened to the rest? Only the Hondas of Barros and Tamada raced to the end. What happened to the rest of the Honda contingent?????
Futher Update
Managed to watch delayed telecast on RTM2 (delayed by 1.5 hours still okla). Nak tunggu Astro it will be like next night (gila nak tunggu). So Shell, hope that answers your question. Next race next weekend will be at Sachsenring Germany.
No wonderlah Kenny Roberts got 2nd place. It was a wet race i.e. it was pissing rain throughout the race (attendance was 75+K). He is known as the King of Rain, he excels in them. Tunggulah normal race..the Suzooks hancus abis.
Looking at the final standings, the riders that were left were mostly shod with Bridgestone tyres (one sole Dunlop - Rolfo) with the exception of Rossi, Edwards and Barros (the frontrunners). The Hondas (and a few Yamahas) shod with Michelins were all decimated - Biaggi, Hayden, Melandri (he took out Bayliss as well), Gibernau and Xaus. Guess what they say about Bridgestones were right - good in the rain but crap on other days.
