Feeling High

For the past couple of days I have this coughing bouts and unable to equalise my ears. Today the doctor gave me some strong cough syrup to clear up the congestion but it made me feel "high" all day in the office. This "high" feeling made me download and listen to this particular song over and over again in the office.

White Rabbit -Jefferson Airplane (1967)

One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small,
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all.
Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall.

And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall,
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call.
Call Alice
When she was just small.

When the men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving low.
Go ask Alice
I think she'll know.

When logic and proportion
Have fallen sloppy dead,
And the White Knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
Remember what the dormouse said:
"Feed your head. Feed your head. Feed your head"

How Normal Are You?

I did this test after reading Dade Ghost's blog. This is my result.

You Are 45% Normal

(Somewhat Normal)

While some of your behavior is quite normal...

Other things you do are downright strange

You've got a little of your freak going on

But you mostly keep your weirdness to yourself

How Normal Are You?

Somewhat normal?????

Respectful Gestures

Yesterday evening on the way back home driving along the Federal Highway just before the Batu Tiga toll, a Gold Wing zoomed past (superbikes are allowed on highways-no need to use the motorcycle lane, completely legal). He slowed down, came along side and glanced sideways to the right looking at me.

Either he recognised me as a fellow biker (I don't on him) or that he was a MCOB too (I have MCKK stickers plastered on both front and rear windshield). Being respectful, I nodded my head to acknowledge him (just like any bikers would do when they meet one another) and gave another sign that I'd follow his six (two fingers at the eyes and then moving the fingers to point down to the side mirrors). I could see him grinning when he understood my signals and told me to follow him. We were zig-zagging along the highway among the cars right up to the toll.

Being bikers, communicating in sign languages (either common or not)while riding is important to communicate events. Each sign tells a different story; slippery roads, potholes, need refuelling, stick with me etc etc. Learning to decipher the signals given is must as it could mean either life or death on the roads. What you understand is helpful but what you don't, you try to be on the side of caution. That what makes a good biker.

After the toll, with too many cars, I bid him farewell with a nod again and a two finger pointing forward. He took off between the cars with a bye-bye and thumbs up signal.

Guess he must be a MCOB too..heh heh

Cornering Styles Part II

I had previously explained on the conventional and unorthodox cornering styles (acccidently deleted). The pictures below are worth much more than my explanation.

The conventional way (not my style)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This is a pic of Valentino Rossi. Head and body leaning inside the corner.

The unorthodox way (that's how I do it)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This is Troy Bayliss. Former WSB and British Champion. See how his body (and head) moving away from the inside of the corner.

Fart

Reading Stellar's posting on "kentut" (farting) reminds me of this comic strip.

.
Hahaha

Too lazy to post anything else.

Useful Break

I was on leave from Wednesday until yesterday (it was a public holiday yesterday anyway). What a relief for me, able to recharge my batteries/energy to face work for the coming months (have received an interim award to start work on river dredging), which I'm sure shall be very hectic.

For the first time in donkey years I have done something with my life, for my own selfish self, not having to worry about other people. I won't tell you what except that I shall be posting pictures of me soon as proof what I have done during the long enforced break.

Until then, cheers and enjoy yourselves ok.

What is happening to me?

A lot has happened over the weekend.

1. Had a high fever
2. Under the influence of drugs :
a. Blew away my identity (my ex's lawyer would definitely be happy to find this out)
i. In attempt to cover it up, accidently deleted my blogs (smart move, you stupid asshole)
3. Despite having a fever, still went on to play futsal
4. While having dinner prior to futsal, had my Treo stolen by a snatch thief (rot in hell, you little piece of shit!!). Lost all numbers and a loads of personal stuff in it.
5. While playing futsal, injured one of my fingers (it's still swollen and I still can't bend it) when palming away the ball from a certain goal (I was the goalie).
6. Came home and found my modem had gone to high heaven.
7. Bought a wireless adsl modem which costs a bomb (more credit card debts)

All in all, it was a memorable weekend. Anyway, I'm still contemplating of either continuing with this blog or starting a new one. Like Dade Ghost once said to me, Blogging is like a video game, if you die, you can still continue with a new life. Hmmmm.... Let me think about it.

I shall be taking a long leave from Tuesday onwards. I don't think there's any internet connection where I'm going. Someone (jokingly) gave a prediction of me for the month of May : You'll go off somewhere and you may never come back.

Signing off (maybe for the last time).
