Throttle to the stop

This is the second time I attended the old skool annual dinner since I left in 1986. The last time I went was in 1994. Back then it was RM100 per shot. Now RM250. Gila punya mahal. Kalau makan kat mamak tah berapa banyak kali dah kenyang.

For both dinners I went for free (typical of me..heh heh). Last time was sponsored by my bank, this time sponsored by my friend whose company bought two main tables behind the Rulers.

Typical of the old skool dinner, usually they would have some skits making parody of the Rulers, the politicians etc etc. I guess we are the only ones who could make fun of the Rulers and still get away with it. Typical Melayu, lepas show mesti minta maaf kat depa kan?


Kedek, one of my batchmate, acting as a cabaret girl. Gynae by profession.

The King and the Sultans of NS, Kedah and Raja Muda Perak (He's also on the Board of Governors for the old skool) attended the function. So did DS Anwar Ibrahim, he came at the last minute.

Venue for this year : KL Convention Centre. At last, enough space to cater for everyone.


Proof the event was held there. Karang korang tak caya lak.


Menu a bit blur. Sorry aaa. Malay food. So so la.


Presentation wise ok la.

Official function ended by midnight and it was time to renew old acquaintances, networking and forge alliances. What do you expect when you have corporate figures around. Cronyism wa cakap lu.

The 85, 86 and 87 batches congregated to a corner for our 'talk-cock" session with an odd one or two from the senior and junior batches joining in.


My batchmates : King, Amran, Mon (siapa nak audition Malaysian Idol kena pass dia dulu), Rod and me. Not in pic was Mat Pit. Only 7 of us attended

By the time habis borak it was close to 2am.
