Throttle to the stop

A certain all-girls residential school is celebrating its 50th annoversary. One of the activities they're having is a futsal tournament (both ladies and men categories) end of this month. Saw the flyer at someone's blog (can't rememeber where).

A certain lady, an old girl, also a committee member and the wife of a certain someone in my batch has registered the Power(Wednesday) and Leisure(Friday)teams for the tourney.

While the Power team comprises ex-students from the 80's, the Leisure team will be more cosmopolitan. The members will all come from class of 86 but from other SBPs as well. We have on our payroll, mercenaries, imports someone from SAS, STAR, SDAR, SMSS'gor and also SMSJohor as our team members.

So funny that the others all want to play upfield but when it comes to keeping goal, everyone shies away. Yours truly will be playing again..in that position!!!

Anyway, last friday, we had a friendly 1 hour game against MBSA and the result was good..an 8-all draw. Not bad eh?? The score was 4-3 when I left the field due to a strain in my right thigh.

We'll keep on training right until the day of the tournament.
